Care Instructions

Fabric:

All my fabrics have been washed extensively to remove excess dye, however I still recommend that you machine wash warm prior to using in your project. This is especially important if you purchased hand dyed fabric that is blue, red, purple, particularly deep, or is going to be used next to white or light fabric.

A QUICK BLEED TEST:

While the dyed fabric is wet, sandwich it between two pieces of white cotton fabric and press dry. If color transferred onto the white fabric, it needs more washing!

Quilts:

All quilts sold in my shop are intended for use and may be machine washed on cold gentle cycle. They may either be machine dried on gentle setting or line dried.

After the first washing it is normal for quilts to crinkle.
