After getting my Glorious Galaxy pattern finished I thought it would be a good time to finish up some of the little projects I’ve just had sitting around.
I usually get stuff for a bunch of projects all at once with the best of intentions of doing it all, but inevitably something ends up just sitting around for months as I find I just don’t have time to do it all! Does anybody else do this too? I just have so many ideas for things I want to do and I overextend myself a little.
Since the weather is starting to get colder it seemed like a great time to finally dye this long sleeved hoodie that’s been waiting for probably more than a year.

My favorite dye technique is geode dyeing. I’ve used it before to make myself some cute little travel bags with the same color combo. I can’t help it, I love these colors!
If you’re interested in making this yourself, I ice dyed a combination of fuchsia, grape, and cerulean blue. It’s one of my favorite color combinations.
One thing to keep in mind when you’re dyeing clothing – be mindful of how you place the designs. I made sure to start the circles on the side instead of at the chest area because, well you can probably guess why… didn’t want to turn my chest into a target.

I just think it’s so much fun to make my own unique clothing!
What do you think? Is dyeing your own clothes something you would want to try?
